AboutEnergetic - Carefree - Suppressed
Very sweet and energetic, always seems to have an endless well of energy, never able to sit still for long. There is a buzzing beneath their fur, deep within their chest, that keeps them running, climbing, swimming. Always on the move. Meeting new people can be rather scary, when they are on their own. The bigger, imposing esk can give them a fright, but Airin keeps up an air of a carefree soul, not being bothered by others. Still, they enjoy company, enjoy it a lot, and will keep bussing between them once they got over their initial spike of fear. An absolute lover of chaos and tricks, especially with like minded esk in tow. On their own they aren't as chaotic, being a rather polite little kid when it comes down to it. Airin usually listens to their elders, those older and more experienced. They also are one that avoids conflict at all cost, bending with others wills, keeping any negative feelings bottled up within them. One may think that this esk wears their heart on their sleeve, with how chipper, bouncy and overall expressive they are. Yet they could not be farther from the truth. Airin is very good at keeping their truest intentions hidden, even from those they trust the most. It is easy to hide behind their happy and friendly act, to make sure no one would dig too deep into their truer feelings, how they still feel horribly trapped, despite escaping the cocoon that led to their life as an esk. Fun facts!

Yoooooooo I'm a big WIP! Bunch of ramblings that are true but unorganized
Their creator and father
The one who freed them from that horrible, tight cocoon. No amount of trying, struggling and frantic panicking could get them out of it. Then there he was, freeing them from their own creation, their self made trap. Airin was grateful, at first. Yet, the longer they stayed, the more off they felt. Hessier likes to keep them close, preening fur, shining their pebbles. Airin finds it suffocating. It's almost like they never left their cocoon, still trapped in it, it trying to reshape and protect them at the same time. Leaving the mere is not something father likes them to do, despite Airin's desperate want for some space, freedom. Yet they listen to him, for her surely knows better, for they fear what would happen if they were to leave. Also, they do love the mere, it being the only home they ever knew. So Airin stays when Hessier tells them to stay and follows when he wishes them to.

Mother
Guess what, another wip!
She who tells beautiful stories
A common visitor of the lake, she who her father calls they little gem. Airin doesn't get it, but they do look forward to her visits! Every time she visits she brings with her new tales, ones Airin will eagerly stop everything for, just so they can hear more of the outside world. They truly love the tales, love hearing of strange esk, exiting adventures, mysterious tales. They eat them up, always wanting more.
A warm and caring presence, so unlike Hessier. Elise is kind, she cares, even if she does try to pry into their hidden depths, ones Airin keeps deeply hidden within them. But they don't mind it too much, for it is nice to know someone seems to understand that something is not right.
Elise is also incredibly fluffy, best fur in town for a nap or a hug.

A fellow lover of chaos
These two are chaotic brats that cause too much trouble. Mischief is very much the one who plans and schemes. She is the idea guy and Airin the one who follows along. Airin doesn't mind it, they like it this way. Together they get up to nothing but trouble and the world must watch out for these two tiny terrors.

Boundary
The mere is a lonely place. Located in the middle of a deciduous forest, with oaks and pines surrounding this body of water. The shores are muddy and covered with sand that sticks to fur and doesn’t let go. The reeds are high and wild, the water dark and murky. The depth is hard to know, as the water is as black as the night, hiding what lies beneath. Yet it is Airins home, for they were born in the lake long before they were an esk. Their entire life was spend it it, a dragonfly nymph stalking the muddy waters. It was after they left the safety of the water that everything changed.
Little lives in his mere. Barely any fish calls it home. Frogs and newts don't mind the waters poor quality, neither do the many birds that visit, or used to visit, the mere. Plenty of bugs call this place their home as well, most familiar to Airin are the dragons flies. They remind them of a life they would never had. |
